Slovenia has more than 60 % of its territory covered with forests, which makes colour green our trade mark. But not only forests, grasslands also boast numerous shades of green. Light green that flourishes in springs awakes our sleepy winter bodies and mysterious dark green of coniferous trees is inviting us in their shade.

Green is sedative. Ramsons on the upper-right of the postcard, is one among healing and tasteful plants, that we love to pick up every spring. Rivers lustre is greenish while meandering on limestone. And emerald is River Soča, which is known worldwide.
