"Very rich in water supplies" is at least what we can say about Slovenia. Exceedingly rich in quantity and quality; rivers, streams, torrents, waterfalls, cascades, lakes, ponds, subterranean water and last but not least the sea, mentioning only a most noticeable forms. Blue is pure life.
Two of the most famous Slovenian sites are on the postcard. First one is a small and picturesque Mediterranean town Piran, other is lake Bled with an island and beautiful alpine background. There are also intermittent lake Cerknica on a flooded Cerknica karst polje, Kočevje lake, stunning Bohinj lake and waterfall Savica. Enjoy, have a glass of fresh water.
